The Role
This position is for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in the creation and management of test cases, as well as the establishment of QA practices for the team. Your main responsibilities will include:
Establishing and implementing manual QA practices and processes.
Writing and managing test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Executing test cases and reporting issues to the development team.
Collaborating closely with the development team to ensure that QA standards are followed.
Overseeing the transition to automated QA processes as the team expands.
Conducting code reviews and contributing to unit testing.
Keeping up to date with industry best practices and emerging QA technologies.
Providing training and mentorship to junior QA team members.
Requirements
Proven experience in establishing and leading manual QA processes and teams.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Extensive experience with manual testing and test case creation.
Proficiency in writing detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Effective communication skills.
Full professional proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.
Experience in setting up QA practices and working closely with development teams.
Familiarity with QA automation tools and frameworks.
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
